Asobi Seksu

Asobi Seksu é uma banda de shoegaze/dream pop de Nova Iorque formada em 2001. A banda é composta principalmente por Yuki Chikudate (vocal/teclado) e James Hanna (guitarra/vocal). Sua música é muitas vezes descrita como shoegaze, por ter muitas texturas, efeitos e um clima melancólico. Ao mesmo tempo, há uma doçura pop que diferencia a banda, e nota-se também influências de j-music, inclusive algumas músicas são cantadas em japonês. A banda gravou quatro  álbuns de estúdio: Asobi Seksu (2004), Citrus (2006), Hush (2009), e Fluorescence (2011). Em 2013 a banda anunciou estarem entrando em hiato.
