Cause For Alarm

Cause For Alarm foi uma banda de hardcore punk formada em 1982 na cidade de Nova Iorque. Ao longo de sua carreira teve várias encarnações, sendo o vocalista Keith Burkhardt o único membro constante. Sua formação original incluía Rob Kabula e Alex Kinon, que mais tarde integrariam o Agnostic Front. Em 1983 lançaram seu primeiro registro que os consagraram como pioneiros do NYHC, e grande inspiração para muitas bandas do gênero. Tensões internas em relação ao crescente interesse de Burkhardt pelo movimento Hare Krishna levaram ao fim da banda. Em meados dos anos 90 retornaram as atividades e lançaram mais três excelentes registros, Cheaters And The Cheated (1996), Birth After Birth (1997) e Beneath The Wheel (1998).
