Sparta

Sparta é uma banda de El Paso, Texas formada em 2001. Os membros fundadores Jim Ward (vocalista/guitarrista) e Tony Hajjar (baterista), ambos da banda de post-hardcore At the Drive-In. Completam a banda Matt Miller (baixista) e Keeley Davis (guitarrista). A banda possui três álbuns de estúdio lançados: Wiretap Scars (2002), Porcelain (2004) e Threes (2006). Em 2008 a banda entrou em hiato, nesse tempo Jim Ward se concentrou em seu outro projeto, o Sleepercar. Em 2011, o grupo anunciou oficialmente seu retorno aos palcos.
