Pale Saints


Pale Saints foi uma banda de rock alternativo formada em 1987 por Ian Masters (vocal/baixo), Graeme Naysmith (guitarra) e Chris Cooper (bateria) em Leeds, Inglaterra. Nos primeiros anos a banda tocava indie pop e com o tempo mudou de direção passando a tocar um som mais atmosférico e denso, muito influenciado pelo Cocteau Twins. Meriel Barham, vocalista original do Lush, se juntou a banda em 1989. O grupo assina com a 4AD Records, um dos maiores selos britânicos de música alternativa, e lança quatro álbuns: The Comforts Of Madness (1990), Mrs Dolphin (1991), In Ribbons (1992) e Slow Buildings (1994). O grupo encerrou suas atividades em 1996.
