Smudge

Smudge é uma banda de Sydney, Austrália formada em 1991 por Tom Morgan (guitarra/vocal), Alison Galloway (bateria) e Paul "Duncs" Duncan (baixo), mais tarde substituído por Adam Yee. Tom Morgan é mais conhecido fora da Austrália como colaborador nas composições de Evan Dando e sua banda The Lemonheads. A banda tem vários álbuns e EPs todos lançados pela Half A Cow Records sendo Manilow (1994), o mais aclamado por sua boa mistura de Power pop, Folk e Indie rock. Em 1997 a banda se torna um quarteto com a adição de um segundo guitarrista, Pete Kelly, que participou da gravação do álbum Real McCoy Wrong Sinatra (1998). Em 2010 foi lançado uma coletânea reunindo 27 músicas remasterizadas dessa banda que apesar de não ser muito conhecida faz um som competente e cheio de energia.
