Shelter

Shelter é uma banda de hardcore de Nova Iorque formada em 1991, inicialmente, apenas como um projeto paralelo de Ray Cappo, na época vocalista do Youth of Today. A banda ganhou o rótulo de Krishnacore que, ao longo dos anos 90, levou milhares de jovens a buscarem a ideologia Hare Krishna à procura da espiritualidade retratada por Cappo em suas letras e discursos. As letras do Shelter são providas de grandes doses de espiritualidade, além de abordarem temas como a condenação a violência e a aversão às drogas e o álcool, pelo fato da filosofia Straight Edge também ter grande relevância nas raízes da banda.
