Dag Nasty

Dag Nasty é uma banda de punk rock de Washington D.C. formada em 1985. Foi uma das primeiras a introduzir a melodia no hardcore punk, efetivamente criando um novo gênero, mais suave, menos violento, mas ferozmente inovador. Seu estilo foi de grande influência para diversas bandas de emocore/post-hardcore que vieram durante as décadas de 80 e 90. Já teve várias formações mas hoje se mantém com: Shawn Brown (vocal), Brian Baker (guitarra), Roger Marbury (baixo) e Colin Sears (bateria).
