Galaxie 500

Galaxie 500 foi uma banda de rock alternativo de Cambridge, Massachusetts que esteve ativa de 1987 a 1991. Embora pouco reconhecidos na época que estiveram em atividade, o grupo composto por Dean Wareham (vocal/guitarra), Naomi Yang (baixo) e  Damon Krukowski  (bateria) é considerado o  precursor dos movimentos shoegaze e slowcore que foram notórios nos anos 90.
