Deafheaven é uma banda de blackgaze formada em 2010 por George Clarke e Kerry McCoy. Unindo as levadas rápidas e agressivas do Black Metal com a beleza e a atmosfera das melodias do Shoegaze, a banda é uma das mais celebres representantes da nova geração do metal norte americano. Ao lado de bandas como Alcest e Altar of Plagues é tida como uma das responsáveis pela popularização do gênero blackgaze.
